Dimension LE - Sustain, Reverb on Sounds

I have recently purchased Dimension LE and Digital Sound Factory 1. I am using Cubase Essential 5 with a low latency M-Audio Card (USB Pro).  I find that the LE sounds in general have too much sustain (or reverb?) and that notes can start to "overlap" (I use MIDI tracks generated mostly by Band-in-a Box). When the transport of the DAW is stopped some notes just carry on - particularly acoustic bass notes,  or the synth stays on and just "rumbles".  Excuse the terminology!

If I use another synth eg TTS-1 the problem disappears. I am not sure how to resolve this? Would upgrading to Dimension Pro improve the ability to tweak the sounds or is the problem somewhere else?. I also find that Digital Sound Factory 1 is far superior to the LE sounds and not as problematic (particularly on the acoustic pianos)

    In Sonar Home Studio there is an option which may be similar to what you have in Cubase.  In Sonar it is in the Options:Audio:Advance tab there is a check box to play effects tails after stopping.  Also you might try turning off all the FX in two places in DimPro   One is that on the main screen there is an FX area located near the  left center, and also there is an FX tab located at the left bottom of the DimPro screen.  I have the full version so I don't know if it is the same on your LE.
