Playback is panned to the left!

I currently installed Music Creator 5 on my desktop. I initially tried recording with it with my USB MXL 990 Mic and it was fine. Only thing I noticed was the terrible latency. To resolved that issue someone recommended using the ASIO driver. I installed that and it was perfect latency minimized to its full potential . . . . . only problem is the playback vocals are all PANNED TO THE LEFT! When I change the audio settings back to normal the panned effect cease to exist but I have to deal with the latency. Switching to the ASIO driver the latency is problem is eliminated but I have to deal with the playback being panned all to one side? What am I missing here?

Thanks! When I change the input settings am I going to the ASIO panel, Music Creator Audio Options, or somewhere on my desktop settings to change the input?

Cool gotcha I figured it out! Thanks for the help . . . . . if I needed to increase the input volume as will because its barely picking me up would I do that on that same track as well or some other setting?

Since you are using a mic without an external interface... you might need to go into the windows mixer and adjust the levels there. I'm no expert on this aspect of MC5 but looking in there and checking the levels for input might not hurt.

In an older cake platform I used, I had to do that every time I switched from recording to mixing..... what a pain it was.

I won't go into it too much, but USB mics do present some problems in ease of use with Cake platforms..... not impossible to use..... but you need to be aware of the issues.  Main reason.... you are using 2 "soundcards" the one in the desk and the usb itself is seen as a SC.
