thanks mate-hope for your effotso-was too annoyed to search for this thread and needed to vent-it`s a pity as otherwise Mozilla has been good for me-seems to be a lot of rushed release software around these days(i`m waiting for X1F)

It's only the Cakewalk site that does not work. All other forums and etc I use work fine. Cakewalk is overdue for a upgrade. Why should I be forced to install Google chrome or lord help me IE just to post here. No hard returns and no pictures.

You got that totally right, Johnny V - Everything works with Firefox just fine, all sites work fine for me except this one. I post less, keep answers brief, since we can't do paragraph breaks with Firefox now (um--even though that wouldn't stop a lot of people who seem to have broken "Enter/Return" keys). I have Chrome for posting longer things - but of course it's a hassle to need two browsers open just for this purpose. It bites. RB

Switched to Chrome, FF has issues with a few other sites as well. They've been updating quite a bit too, latest v is 7.0.1..

After using Firefox, using IE or Chrome is like taking a step back 10 years. Firefox is good software,It's not their fault there are issues with this site ( or others) I reported a bug to them and they followed up right away and the conclusion was this site was the bug, not firefox. I'm like Randy, just keep posts short and no pictures. Basically makes it hard to help people now until they fix it.

webbs hill studio just wasted 30 mins trying to post a question on the techniques forum-will see how ie7 goes here.... is it firefox or the forum software that aren`t talking? It's probably more this joke of an excuse for forum software here at Cakewalk than a problem with Mozilla. This is the only site that plays up for me. Possibly overly harsh to the site software...

a little harsh perhaps-a prominent goverment department here is struggling with their browser updates so some sympathy for the cooks striving away upstairs(unless it`s just one poor underpaid dedicated guy on a 12 hr shift)which i doubt as this is Roland Corp after all. it can`t be a priority as there would have been a furore if there weren`t viable options-i only use chrome for this site but i`ve got to admit the shortcut icons are pretty cool! ps:let the bakers get on with fixing that X1 thingy.... pps:you must be a bored insomniac too as this thread is way old?

I know it's a drag, but you can use <br> to create a line break. Here's one now. Actually, that was two of them. I'm just sayin... -Jack

The forum software was "upgraded" only 2 years ago. The old version had more functionality and apparently worked better (see this thread). Perhaps it would still have worked ok under Firefox too.
