This is a discussion that is ongoing internally. I find the forum software frustrating to use at times as well although I'm never actually prohibited from communicating what I need to say or reading what others have to say. It doesn't seem that you are either. I will acknowledge that I personally use Chrome every day so it sidesteps most of the compatibility issues you're aware of and frustrated about.
CakeAlexS, to be perfectly honest with you, I have not personally replied on this matter before because it is frustrating to be constantly
provoked on this topic at every corner on what are completely unrelated threads. I don't find a ton of time to make it on the forums, but I've read similar quotes from yourself on many occasions.
Quite frankly it doesn't come across as asking nicely when people need help with various things and instead of addressing the topic at hand, they're pitted against our staff and operations at every opportunity. I'm sorry you feel the way you do about our team being amateurs. From the inside looking out, I couldn't disagree more. Rather then argue about it or get into specifics though, at the end of the day I hope we can just change this opinion over time since I'm pretty sure we can both agree that actions speak louder then words.
Just because we haven't replied publicly and directly on internal business operations does not mean we aren't listening and working on improving things every day (this goes for various other topics as well that you seem to have a lot of opinions about, our newsletters, our web store, etc. and not just the version of the forum software).
For whatever it's worth, I have no plan on throwing you out. From what I've observed, you seem to be a pretty helpful person despite wanting to physically abuse some Cakewalkers. :)
I would like to move on from this topic however. The signature isn't actually necessary.
