I think this would be a great feature, I have hundreds of plugins.  I just installed a new one, I have to scroll through hundreds to find it to add it to my custom plugin-layout.   Would be nice if we can sort by date added.   What do you guys think?  Does this count as an official feature request or is there an official form?

This is the place for feature requests. The Feature Request form was discontinued some time ago.

I feel like there could be a few additional parameters/features. Sort by date, search and preset tagging would be nice...

I agree / like your suggestion. I'm with you for Plugin Manager improvements!! Last month I suggested a few as well. Please take a look when you get a chance.
