Hi,  So I purchased X3 upgrade from sweetwater.  Get the download instructions and then the serial # is not recognized so I call cakewalk.  The guy is nice and ends up emailing me 4 installation files to download save then run. The files are labeled Install package 1,2,3,4  and instructions state to install one after the other.  Ater installing 1 i notice the pop up states to install 4 (skipping 2 and 3)  I figure it is a bug so i continue to install 2 and 3 packages , why else would cake walk send them to me.  Now after installing 3 packages.  I click on package 4 and a pop ups states i need to install previous packages.  Wow, is this actually a bug with the installation or am I really missing something here???  HELP !!!!   When I go to re install other 1,2,3 packages I still get the message when  I go to install package 4 that I need to install previous packages.  Very confusing.

The number supplied by Sweetwater was probably not a serial number but a redemption code intended to be entered on this screen http://www.cakewalk.com/Redeem Calling customer support, they probably executed the redemption and sent you links to the download files. The other parts are automatically run after part1. It sounds like part 1 was run. If this is the case, X3 should be completely installed.

hmmm, after I run part 1 it tells me to run part 4.  When I run part 4 it tells me to install previous packages. 

I went back and ran install of part 1 again.  after it loads a pop up automatically comes up and says "installation incomplete, run installation package 4".
