I suggest you work on some sort of engineering 'Strut', to reinforce your God-like abilities. :)
That's a WAY kewl story of something that was really helpful to the client.
The neatest part of it was that you had the presence of mind (awareness) that this might be something you could accomplish with Melodyne.
I think it is SOOOO important to get a really good working knowledge of the kinds of things that you can do with Sonar. While it might have also saved the client's take if the CLIENT had been the one to have suggested trying to correct the problem with Melodyne, it would not have looked as good for THEM to have been the ones to know Sonar. Or to have thrown away the take, only to find out later that it could have been used after all.
I believe these folks walked out of there with a sense of great satisfaction, and also one of far deeper trust in your abilities.
