Please tell me we aren't going to see every thread that references an issue fixed in X3e bumped now. 
 

Well there's no other way to check that a documented fix is actually fixed. It's really helpful when documenting which bugs are still outstanding, and I suspect helpful to people who have experiencing the issue knowing their issue is fixed. Just tying up loose ends. Don't worry by the time we get to X3G there will be less of these threads .

But it does bring back a quotable quote... Can have a lot of fun reading into this one!
 
I really have to look at the time-stamps on posts before reading them all the way through!

Frankly anything before X3 should be forgotten about (and I don't want to bring back suppressed memories) and we should all start anew.

+1  It's great to read about problems I've yet to run into, and many don't apply to what I do at the moment, but we don't need the forum cluttered with old issues.  Some people still do miss the scissors icon though. 

If you don't like it then please just ignore. We are trying to work out what is actually fixed and what isn't... And see if there are any new bugs along the way. Judging by what the bakers fixed in X3E I think this has proven to be a useful contribution. It's time consuming enough already without hurdles being introduced. Why not give us a hand rather than poo poo our efforts on the sidelines or maybe just let us be and get on with the work rather than attempt (dare I say it) to police these forums and make life even harder for us. If you won't support what I'm doing at least please do not attempt to stop what I'm doing :) I'm sorry it is an inconvenience.

Others have stated elsewhere they are enjoying reading the good news stories so it just proves you can't please everybody.

BTW I've already found a regression issue so it is worth it!
