I've upgraded to the latest X3d patch and ever since then, my Concrete limiter will not work. The central limiter meter shows only one long bar (the left side only) rather than the two (left and right meters) that it used to show. The pictures here are with no audio present or playing - only a blank template! Pictures here ...

Deleting the module and reinserting it or replacing it has no effect. I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, as well as reinstalling the X3d patch. I also tried resetting all my plugins to default. Nothing has worked.

Any ideas?

Sorry for the missing pictures above ... Looks like I'm not allowed to publish pictures or links to my files which are on dropbox (I assume its my low post count).

Try rescanning...

Preferences > File > VST Settings >
Check Rescan Failed Plugins
Check Rescan Existing Plugins
Click Scan

Yeah I did try that (and again on your suggestion) but no luck.

You have me grasping at straws here already... The only suggestions I can make are:
1) Did you install the X3d patch as administrator?
2) Did you verify the MD5 hash on the X3d patch file you downloaded?
3) Are you running version 1.0.1.0 of the Concrete Limiter? (C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Shared Utilities\Internal\ProChannelConcreteLimiter\ProChannelConcreteLimiter_64.dll)

Your situation sounds like a possible bad patch file.

Hi Mark

Are you experiencing the same problems as outlined in THIS THREAD?

I had the problem myself in X2a, even though it was supposedly fixed in X2.

Here are the screenshots I posted in that thread, do they resemble what you are seeing in X3d?

Until you get more knowledgeable/relevant advice, try my workaround at the time, which was to create a new bus or track and try inserting the Concrete Limiter Module there.

Hi mettelus
1) yes I believe I did
2) I'm unfamiliar with what the MD5 hash is
3) Yes, I am running 1.0.1.0

Hi Steve,
YES - your graphic shows what is happening for me. Thanks for the thread too. Only trouble is that mine seems to be permanently in that state.

I'm off to bed now - I'll pick this up in the morning (Australian time)

> only a blank template

Just to double check. This is a brand new project with X3D, and when you are creating a new project you are selecting Black Project as the template.

Thanks...

HI Alex, yes this happens on both new projects and existing. I've tried all the standard Cake projects (including blank) but no luck.
