Hey all,
Wanted to fire up Sonar today. It's been a while and I don't remember what I might have changed in the past.  But anyway, when I fire up sonar X3 ( I think I have applied the very latest update ) I'm getting the following error

The program can't start because TTSlame.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix the problem.

Not sure what i would have changed exactly that would cause this. I've done a little digging on the internet for info but the what I've seen has me a bit apprehensive to download and install it separately.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

You can copy the file from any version of SONAR that you have.

Where does it go?

A quick search of the fourms bring us this, and note there is another forums post linking from here as well:

For earlier versions of Sonar may help (and don't forget to install X3C, please update your footer - cheers).

Are you starting Sonar from some other location than its default?

Is TTSLame.dll in the same folder as SONARPDR?  (it should be)

The default location for SONARPDR is: C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\SONAR X3 Producer, and TTSLame.dll should be located in the same folder.

FWIW, here is a user compiled version using a newer version of LAME http://forum.cakewalk.com/FindPost/1772420

When I did a scan of the entire computer, I have it right here apparently
C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\SONAR X3 Producer

That is the correct path for TTSlame.dll. If you see it there and X3 does not run, it may be bad.
