Issue resolved...
 
 
I opened several projects (and started a new one and tried importing a wave file).
 
Audio plays back fine, but I cannot see any waveform, regardless of how I experiment with colors.  I've tried:
 
1. Deleting picture cache file contents
2. Recomputing waveform
3. Deleting and reconfiguring the aud.ini file
 
I've got to have this fixed by Monday evening for a talk I am giving. 
 
Anyone have this issue?  Anyone resolve it?
