Waves support probably had you do this, but in case they didn't:

They took control of my machine for the duration of the call, and I did have it installed correctly, but they reinstalled it anyway during that call.

The short answer is no. I am now getting crackling over non waves plugins too, and have posted about it in the main Sonar forum.

Long shot here Bill, but have you tried another mouse? What type are you using? USB? If so, try using a PS2 mouse and see if that helps.

Glad you found a work around. I think there is more to it than the TH3 plug, but if that is working for you, keep on using it (or not using it as this case may be!)

Like you, I suspect that it is not just TH3, and I can freeze the track once I have finished recording, but it has put me off it a little. Apparently some people have had success adapting S Gear for use as a bass amp, and I am going to try that next. If I get any joy, I’ll post about it separately. 

Just to let you know Marshalll, I tried to reproduce your problem with TH3 with my home pc, but could not. Made a kool little bit of song out of the process though!
