This is actually why we have the "Silent Bus Detected' warning message.
It's on by default but you may have turned it off or it's possibly the old projects were created before we added this flag. Re-saving them would add it.
For turning the message on/off
Go to Preferences > File > Initialization File
Then create an Option called: WarnSilentBuses
Set the Value to: 0 (off) or 1 (on)
Hi, by any chance do you know how to stop the "Busy" message in the audio clip from appearing (when the waveform and the sound are both absolutely fine)?
The reason why I just want to remove the message is explained here:
http://forum.cakewalk.com...-go-away-m2831601.aspx
(I upgraded my OS from 32-bit to 64-bit afterwards but the message still recurs)
I contacted tech support and asked Dan twice if there's a setting to stop the message from being displayed, but he didn't seem to know (or maybe there's no way to stop it).
Also, it looks like there are more variables for initialization files available than those listed in the reference guide (for example, "WarnSilentBuses" and "VSTPlugInNameFormat" aren't listed). Where can we see the complete list of variables?
Thanks
I've never seen that before.
Did Dan have to re-personalize SONAR by holding Shift+Ctrl when launching the application? This should rewrite your config files. If it's an error in one of those it should get cleared out.
Hi, thanks for your reply. Yes, he suggested it and I did it twice (before and after upgrading to 64-bit), both after completely deleting all files in the Picture Cache folder. It's really strange, isn't it? If there's no option to block the message I'll just live with it. Not a big problem but it would be nice if I could get rid of it.
Thanks
