I've just updated Platinum to 23.10.0.14 from 22.11.0.111 and I haven't yet got the hang of the new PRV. I have several instances of PRV docked in the undocked multidock, each with a different filter applied. It was all working fine, but when I closed the project an re-opened it, the filters on each PRV had reverted to the last one that I had been viewing and were all identical. Should I maybe have locked the screenset? Or is there some setting that I haven't discovered?

Maybe these forum links will help?

Good luck.

I was hoping that it was just me doing something wrong and that it wasn't a bug. It's quite a serious bug to be stuck with on the final version of Sonar. Was it present also in the penultimate version? If not, I'll go with that one instead.

It says in that link that he ended up rolling back to 2017.01, presumably because the problem didn't exist in that build.

That's a lot of versions for such a serious bug to continue through and not get fixed.

I found other problems with 23.10.0.14 too. I kept getting a runtime error message after booting up. Reinstalling C++ would cure it, but running Sonar would bring it back again. There was a problem with the Track Inspector display too.

Anyway I have now reinstalled the version that I was on previously, i.e. 22.11.0.111, and everything is working properly again. Projects that I opened and edited in the later version all still work in the earlier version.

EDIT:
I spoke too soon. The runtime error message came back again.
