I have NOT had this problem ever before. I must have accidentally changed a setting, somehow. I usually mix down the music (bounce to track) and then start to add the vocal tracks. I arm these audio tracks as expected. Usually the vocals just record nicely on the new track(s) and then I do the mixing of these into the music. NOW, I only end up RE-recording the music track into the new audio track (instead of the new vocal)! I'm going crazier than I already am. Please be kind enough to tell me what to do. Thank you so much. Sincerely. George

You are probably looping the original recording through your audio interface like this post
Don't do that.

lol... sage advice. Check your track input too.

And why are you bouncing the music before recording the vocals? You could achieve the exact same thing using a bus but then you'd still be able to adjust the other tracks if you wanted.

Indeed! Adding vocals to it all will SURELY have an effect on the overall mix! I can't imagine doing the mix of a project and then adding vocals to it without having the need afterwards to change the mix in various places!
