Hi, in Producer 8.5 I used to be able to go to specific positions in time in SMPTE. I just had to click on the smpte clock and enter the new location.
Now if I click on the smpte clock it switches to mbt or some other clock, but I can't enter manually my desired SMPTE position. I'm working to film. Is really a pain going to specific points 20 minutes ahead or behind, lots of clicking and resizing involved.
Any ideas? Is there an obvious way to do it and I missed it?
Thanks

Aha! So this did used to be a function. They should re-implement it. There was a thread about this last week with some work arounds...

Thanks Beep, so there's no way to do it...I thought each new version would be better.

Choose Edit > Preferences (or press P). In the Preferences dialog, choose the Customization > Display category. Put a check mark next to the option entitled Display All Times as SMPTE. Click OK. Now when you press G to access the Go dialog, you can input your time as SMPTE.

hmm... odd that can't be selected right in the Go box by default. I'll have to remember to tell Bob about this.
