Sonar users out there using kX-Project audio drivers for their Creative card? If yes, you got it running using WDM in Sonar?

In brief what the KX-Project is about:

The kX Audio Driver is an independent WDM (Windows Driver Model) driver for all EMU10K1 and EMU10K2-based soundcards manufactured by Creative Technology Ltd. and/or E-mu Systems Inc., including the SoundBlaster Live! series

I've tried it.  I've had better results with ASIO4ALL.  But, neither solution ideal, as we discussed in another thread.

I take that creative card out and throw it off the tallest bridge you can drive to. Even if its a 3 hour drive, its worth it, just to see it smash into millions of pieces. Take some photos and post them here. I would love to see it!! :)

Nothing wrong with the E-MU chip on it, it is giving me plenty of good sounds.

CJ's blood pressure rises when he hears your using a Creative card... and for good reason too!
Sonars TTS-1 has better sounds than those on the $4 chip. You need to go to it's GUI to explore the full potential.

I tried those KX drivers in a desperate attempt to make my $300 SB Audigy card run with Guitar studio, check my posts back in 2005.  The drivers that came with the card worked better than asio4all or the kx. But still a nightmare. The idea of the kx drivers was to give you access to all your output ports. Like the 5 channels of the surround system without the dolby processing.

Asking about it over and over again isn't going to make it work any better. You need an interface if you want better performance.

Not sure its in 64 bits therefore not too sure how useful it is anymore.

I do know why I have performance issues, it is the MME driver setting I have chosen in Sonars. I am aware of that.
