Edit: some of you have pointed out that I can resize a non-zoomed track and it resizes all of the the non-zoomed tracks. Works perfectly, and is a very nice feature.

I love the idea, but the implementation in X2 is not quite usable for me. When Auto Track Zoom is on I can't completely minimize all of the non-zoomed tracks, which results in waste of real-estate. Bummer, because Auto Track Zoom would be very nice if it didn't have this problem.

Yes I have, but I have to do that to all the non-zoomed tracks. I'd rather adjust one track (the current track) than all the rest of them.

As long as the Auto-zoomed track retains focus, you can grab the bottom edge of one of the non-zoomed tracks and shrink it by dragging with the mouse. All the other non zoomed tracks follow suit. At least that's the way it works here for me.

I'm not sure I understand your post. With auto zoom on you can minimize the tracks to show just the track name header. You do this by adjusting the height of a non-selected track. All other tracks will comply.  No key press is used.

The selected track will hold its zoom.

You can toggle it on and off with a keyboard shortcut.

And if all else fails...  select all of the tracks and then shift+grab the bottom of one track and minimize it - that should minimize everything.  Then, grab one track (without shift) and expand it to your desired height.   With that track still selected, turn Auto Zoom back on again.   As you click from track to track each one should take on that same height while the others remain minimized.

If you adjust the current in focus track with autozoom on you are changing the height of the autozoomed track. As already pointed out you just need to change the height of one of the non focus tracks by dragging it to minimum height. The rest follow and then it sticks. Should take about all of 2 seconds to fix.

Ah, very nice! I didn't realize I could do that. Now I love auto-zoom!
