  • New X2 Prob - All midi notes not playing- can't select multiple notes **SOLVED**

hopefully its nothing big, but many notes are dropping out in several tracks...worked fine in X1.  tracks linked to Add Drums, Psyn, Z3ta+2 midi tracks.  Cant select multiple notes either by left click and drag.

Try going to Edit > Preferences > MIDI > Playback & Recording.  Set "Prepare using 500 ms buffers."  That may help.

Selecting several notes is done now with Right click.
 
I don't know if you saw this video, it helps a lot.

Yes... increasing buffers from the default of 250ms to 500 worked... and I watched the vid earlier, but it's a lot to digest... I could SWEAR I tried right clicking earlier... you get things confused when u go from Sonar to Reason to Reaper.

 500 is the default in X2. You may have migrated a value you had from X1.
