I just opened an old project (some 5 years old) I needed to update, and it has an Fx in some tracks called "Cakewalk Chorus" that Sonar is not finding on my computer - I cannot locate it anywhere on my drives upon searching.  I can always  add other chorus Fx, but would like to start from where this project was as a base.  Anyone remember this Fx, and how I can re-install it?

According to my SPlat Plugin Manager, Cakewalk Chorus and Cakewalk Delay are both one and the same plugin.

It is a DX called "StereoDelay.Ax" found in the Shared Plugins folder.

Why and how there's two different listings for the same plugin makes no sense to me.

Chorus and flanging are types of delay effects so in this case they're using the same delay engine for multiple purposes.

StereoDelay.Ax is only** available as a 32bit DX so any plugin using it wont show up in Sonar 64 bit.

**If it is available as a 64bit DX then they may have stopped including it with the current version of Sonar.
I just remembered on my current machine I didn't bother installing any of the previous Sonar versions.

I have entire X series installed so can't say which one it came from.

Just remembered someone posted a version by version list of Sonar plugins a while back. Try searching the forums for it.

Thx mudgel. Does the list pertain to Producer only? It says Dimension Pro was included with v8.0, of which I have 8 Studio but no Pro, only LE.

Thanks all!  Found it in the shared plugins folder for 32 bit, as advertised.

Sorry to be dense, but does this mean the old StereoDelay as a 32 bit DX will not function in X3, since using 64 bit?
I'm scanning the old shared plugins folder and it's still not recognizing it on loadup.

Maybe this old thread will help you get some understanding on the possibilities or no go's with what you are trying to accomplish.
