Yes its sad that they dangle a nice plugin in your face, and then want you to load anti pirating snooper software onto your PC. I have had problems with iLok in the past and Id rather pay for a plugin then have to install any iLok piece of crap Haxor warez on my machine.

Yup--I see the other post now. Someone beat me to it.

Superb plugins..., less is more.

Yup, the Slate stuff is fantastic. The Eventide channel strip is cool, I haven't had time to play with it too much. I have no issues with iLok, in fact I have no issues with Waves V8 plugs that require iLok and nothing but hassles with the V9 cloud license scheme.

I installed the eventide channel strip last night and messed with the delay on some guitar parts on a new track I'm working on. No issues, and I really like the spatial separation. I'm going to go back tonight for another listen to see if I still like it in the mix, but I definitely think it's worth the money ;-)

Weird. I've never had a problem with this. I use a USB stick.
