That's what's bothering me. I got an order confirmation with an order number but no UPS tracking number. It could have gotten lost in a spam trap, though. I'll wait another day before I pester NI about it.

Did you get a follow-up email from NI when the product shipped?

EDIT: Never mind, I just now got an email from NI saying the order shipped late last night, 8.5 days after placing the order. Glad I didn't pay for expedited shipping! That would have been a rip-off, paying for overnight shipping and still waiting more than a week for the goodies.

Another post claims there was a huge backorder on Kontakt 4, that may be the problem.

I guess I wasn't the only holdout, then.  I recall that Kontakt 4 was initially greeted mostly with yawns, since it wasn't apparent what benefits it brought. I'm not sure I know even now. But I do know that I've had to pass up some interesting libraries that required 4.

As I recall, there's:
1 Komplete disc
9 Kontakt discs, which also contain all the included libraries you get with Komplete.
2 Battery discs

And when you are running the install, it has the nerve to say, "This may take a few minutes".

It took about the same time for me to get the shipping email.  I'm another holdout waiting for the sale!

That makes me feel better that they weren't just discriminating against me personally.

I have, after all, said a few mean things about NI over the years and they could have been holding a grudge or something. They are Germans, after all. (Oh jeez, there I did it again. I love Liebfraumilch, Gummi Bären and Mercedes - really.)

So it looks like Monday is the delivery date, then. Too bad, because I have to work that day. (Heh. Like that's gonna happen.)
