In X3c, I am seeing it as a weird bug still...
When first launching X3c and double clicking a sequence done in 8 beats/8 steps. The sequencer will pop open as 4/4. No drum map (was done in AD).
Ctrl-dragging the clip sets it to "8/8," but the header is still showing the 4/4. No drum map. I hit play and the header begins "filling itself in" properly. Add a note anywhere on the SS and hit CTRL-Z and the drum map pops up.

without a save (just the project, not X3c). Repeated. On the second run, the SS opened to the correct SS 8/8, but no drum map (no ctrl-drag of the clip required). Repeated the add note/ctrl-z and the drum map comes back.
