Hey, Keni,

Please don't change the way you post, this place wouldn't be the same if you did.

We've managed for years so far.  I understood you.  After all' this is a peer to peer forum, not a Beta Tester forum.

Merry Christmas.

> I thought it pretty obvious that shift v not working to open V-vocal pretty explanatory by itself

Sorry it maybe to you but it isn't to me (guess I am thick, in fact I know I'm thick!)
You need to say what you see and pretend we've never used the software before. That way you get your point across.

Let me try and translate this...

STEPS
Open an existing project with audio clips.
Click and select an audio clip (so its highlighted).

So are you are saying SHIFT + V should do the same as RegionFX -> V-Vocal-Create Region FX?

> I just found this in the online shortcut docs:

Which reference - where? Please point us to it.

Thanks

Alex

I think we are beating a dead horse at this point.  I think he gets that what is obvious to him may not be to others and to be fair to him, he is not required to fill out a beta test form every time he wants to complain about an issue.  he said he would try and give us a better description of problem next time and that is good enough for me.

As far as the problem itself, that shortcut is not bound to that for me so i am probably of little help to explain why it doesn't work.

Since when did you become in charge of posting formats? I hate it when a single person tells everyone else that their way of doing things is the only way of doing things.

You've been at it a few days now and I don't even dare ask a question anymore, lest the posting police jump in.

It's Christmas, lighten up man.

Here here. When I question it I get accused of being a troll.

I am simply trying to follow what Keni is doing.
Maybe you could you tell me what the steps are please to reproduce this issue so that I understand?
I don't even know where this behaviour is documented- do you know where this behaviour is documented? Do you know what online shortcut docs is?

Am I not supposed to ask these questions?

Agreed...

I don't think there's any need for a formal bug reporting format on this forum, however it's always useful to include more info about the problem. After all someone who has never used V-Vocal or who isn't familiar with it's associated short cuts may be more than willing to test it on their system and give you a definite answer about whether or not it works at their end in a very short space of time, without having to wait for someone who is familiar with V-Vocal to reply.

Thanks.  I really do hope your problems go away.  It seems you are having a lot lately

Thanks... I hope everyone's problems go away!

Mine? they are really aren't that many, but they seem most debilitating. Lusckily with more investigation I'm learning more and finding work arounds until these issues can be sorted out...

Keni, I believe that VV opens like Melodyne, via the Region FX tab, now.  Highlight your clip or region and open the Region FX tab where you will find VV and Melodyne available.  This has been reported here on several occasions.

As I mentioned in one of my replies... I will give recipe format anytime someone needs it... It seems that some people prefer reading recipe to reading prose... ;-)

I'm well aware of how to post actual recipe/report style as I've done so in the past... Here I feel I'm talking to friends and I am glad to accomodate... I'm sure my posts will still contain prose, but I will try to post recipe (when I can) as well to satisfy others...

Thanks... and a Very Merry Christmas to you and everyone else!

Keni
