Okay so I think we've established the answer to this is yes

> I just found this in the online shortcut docs:

Where exactly is SHIFT + V documented? So I can read up on it? Can you paste a link?

- many thanks...!

Got there!
I can confirm I can reproduce, and I've also logged this myself as CWBRN-22703

Thanks..

STEPS
Open an existing project with audio clips.
Click and select an audio clip (so its highlighted).
Click SHIFT + V

EXPECTED
V-Vocal should open as documented under "V-Vocal shortcuts":
http://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation/default.aspx?Doc=SONAR%20X3&Lang=EN&Req=Menus1.181.html#1869172

ACTUAL
Nothing.

Thanks Alex...

I did post the quote from the online keyboard shortcuts in this thread somewhere...

I'm glad you found it and note that somewhere Melodyne is supposed to respond the same way to shift-m

Gotta go... Thanks for sticking with me...

It's always good to check the shortcut list in Preferences on a new version. They have been known to change without notice and without updating the HELP file.

I don't think there's any need for a formal bug reporting format on this forum, however it's always useful to include more info about the problem. After all someone who has never used V-Vocal or who isn't familiar with it's associated short cuts may be more than willing to test it on their system and give you a definite answer about whether or not it works at their end in a very short space of time, without having to wait for someone who is familiar with V-Vocal to reply.

very true

Keni, I believe that VV opens like Melodyne, via the Region FX tab, now.  Highlight your clip or region and open the Region FX tab where you will find VV and Melodyne available.  This has been reported here on several occasions.

Hi Lynn...

Thanks, I know I can use that, but the shortcuts are supposed to work too...

Keni, I just found out they don't work here either.  There may have been more changes in this version than reported.  I used the shortcut to VV quite a bit, but since VV is no longer supported I'm just glad that it shows up.
