This is not the USA, these are international forums, please be more specific to us people who don't understand ;) I'm not seeing any green.

The GUI for the X series STILL is great to look at.

Agreed. X3's GUI is the most beautiful among all daws, IMO, of course.

HOWEVER....

Well that's sorted out that confusion... Thanks.

I'm glad you all like it but for me, it's hard to look at. I don't care about esthetics. I want functional more than esthetics. So, not to be rude, your wasting your time saying how much you love the GUI in this thread. I'm glad you like it. More power to you. It's not for me and it gives me a headache.

It may not be "pretty" but it was very functional and easy to work for long periods of time.

So what exactly is missing from Sonar, other than it not working like some other piece of software? If you are wanting a UI redesign so it looks like somebodies else's product (or make it look more like the deathstar) I suspect it won't happen.

Good point!

No Robert really, please bare with me, what specially do you want to change, I am interested. It's been pretty generalistic so far. I think your points may be good points, just need the specifics. My point really was (badly written) you are being too vague. You really can't just point to another product and say it should be like this product, that would be saying Cake should be more like Pro Tools.... We might get you but we don't really get a grip. Jlien's point for instance was extremely clear.

Au contraire, mon ami

You're wasting your time saying how much the GUI disgusts you in this thread.

Can you use the brightness, contrast, saturation, color temperature, etc. options in the monitor itself to suit your needs better? For example Vegas has a GUI option designed for post-production suites that's useless for me - until I adjust brightness and contrast.
