For an upright piano that has been tuned, I'd suggest checking out SampleTekk's Rain Piano (which has been around a long time, but is still a very nice piano; http://www.sampletekk.com...d=STDELIVER-004-FORMAT ) and Native Instrument's Steingraeber Upright Piano (another piano library that has been around several years, but is nice; http://www.native-instrum...e/keys/upright-piano/) and Giant (a more recent upright piano library that's a little different with a standard and cinematic version and some very cool presets; http://www.native-instrum...lete/keys/the-giant/).

I've been using The Giant lately.

I used it on Ticket To Ride and it worked out nicely in the middle 8.

The various Pianoteq versions have an add-on called U4, which is a great sounding upright.

You've even got a slide on the GUI that can go from perfectly tuned to horribly wonky and everything in-between.

Obviously, that's not a Kontakt library, but it is a nice upright and Pianoteq Play is an excellent program.

It took some time for me to warm up to it (Giant). But I think I'm "getting" it now.

I think the entire Piano thing is "genre specific"  The right piano in the
right piece of music...so to speak...I have far too many Piano's now...
Wonder when the next one is coming out?

The reviews on YouTube are good. I'm not a pianist though and that breed are a fussy lot. How people ever learn to do such different things with their fingers at the same time I know not. Picking up a knife and fork is my limit.

And the Yorkshire Ripper likes it too

It's a pretty sounding upright for sure...

I'm a guitar player...barely..for 30+ years barely..LOL
I watch guys play and it boggles my mind...and seeing
people like Geddy Lee, who can play 2 things AND sing at the same
time is a real mind blower...I can barely walk and chew bubble gum!
