Can others confirm this? Apparently it is still off. So far otherwise, 'e' has been great.

confirm what? If you outline the recipe and conditions here, others may try it.

Well, I thought the title said it all...Did you miss it? "Melodyne still not sync'ed"
There's been a known issue with it not syncing with the track view.
This was listed as fixed in 'e', but the issue remains.

You are assuming we all know about your issue, however some of us don't. Sorry it means nothing to me.

Could you paste in your steps to reproduce or better still could you point to an actual thread (by the sounds of it there is one).

If you do find the thread I suggest that maybe it's best to continue the discussion on that thread rather than starting a new one (get's confusing/we all have to start from the beginning again otherwise).

Thanks.

Are you using any tempo changes in the song?

hey MB, no there are no tempo changes in the project.
What's happening is that after I create the Region FX, looking at the Melodyne window, the time ruler there
is not in sync visually with the time ruler in the track view. So in the Melodyne window, the ruler is slightly ahead.
This has only presented a visual problem though, not an audio sync issue.

At any rate, I reported the issue.

There was definitely an issue with this that was fixed in X3E caused by rounding errors with tempos that would show up when you were further out by many measures in the project.
If you are still seeing something like this its probably a different problem that was not reported by a recipe.
We will need a detailed recipe and a project file to reproduce it before it can be investigated.

Hi Noel,

Speaking of Melodyne, the modify/repair/remove window that comes up during the Sonar 3XE patch installation...what is the correct response? I have the paid upgrade to the Melodyne Editor. I cancelled any changes. But was that the right choice?

Hey Noel,
I made the report so I could go back to it and attach a session there.
The plugin that I think is suspect is in the session.
Edit: Noel, I sent you a PM

Haven't had a chance to try it yet. I am going through a major clean install of everything, so it may be a while before I get to X3e.  So much software etc. to set up..

Noel says the original rounding error is fixed, so I will have a play with it when I eventually get there.

Would you PM me with a bit more information of what you are seeing this time?  Thanks.
