One of my favorite cartoons:
The couple is dressing for an evening out.
While looking in the full-length mirror, she asks him, "Do I look fat?"
Without missing a beat he responds, "Do I look stupid?"

Reminds me of the old "Lockhorns" cartoon where the wife asks:
"Honey, does this dress make me look fat?" 
and Leroy answers:
"No, the dress doesn't make you look fat, it's your fat that makes you look fat."
 
Hope he ducked after that remark....

I'll take it by the fact that this thread has drifted off into the "2 Days Ago" bin...that the masses have given up hope of seeing the hover car featurette any time in 2014.  Indeed, the thread itself has drifted so far off topic that the contents are no longer recognizable.

do you actually think that I was OK with the idea that I had answered a forum members question that was directed specifically to me and that my response left me hanging out there looking like an OT Thread Killer for 2 days? 
 
let me ask you this , are you trying to be funny ? discerning ? or judgmental ? 
according to my score card , you got one out of three and it ain't the first or the second one 
 
Regarding the reason for my off topic Gibson Memory Card discussion , I was answering a question for someone I was talking with in another thread that I had started regarding SONAR X 4. The thread we were taking in was in another section of the forum , this thread got moved by a mod and wound up  getting itself merged into this thread two days ago …

Most threads are like walking into a bar, intruding oneself into a group of constantly changing participants, and adding comments to an ongoing conversation.
 
Sometimes your comments are welcome.
 
Sometimes you are just ignored cuz it had been said before.
 
Sometimes everyone gets the joke.
 
Sometimes you change the topic and everyone follows until everyone gets bored, or a new contributor appears, or it is time to go home.

As to SONAR, I have been assured, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that the release will occur sometime in the future. This is absolutely guaranteed as definite.

On a positive note, the longer it takes, the better X4 will be and the less broke I will be.  Holidays are particularly challenging this year!

It is my understanding that the minute a thread has X4 in the title, absolutely anything is permitted as far as content goes.  Nothing can be taken at face value and the meaning of anything anyone says is left up to s/he who reads it.
 
Given this perspective, I can't even tell if you were serious or not.  There's as much a chance that you're serious than there is that you've been making a joke and I didn't get it.

It looks like Cakewalk might be doing a lot of heavy duty QA before the release. An issue I reported got reproduced and I was asked to submit a bug report. Within hours of my submitting the report, I got an email telling me it was in the developers queue. I think they're at the stage where they're pulling in all the low risk fixes they can get done based on their target release date. It is nice to know they're paying attention.
I would be surprised if they dropped gold before New Years though.

Thank you Craig   i did happen to see that earlier today …I'm looking forward to seeing how that thread develops 
 
I honestly thought the day after I got the Gibson Memory Cables that X4 was gonna be released ..
(must be my blues player mentality ) 
I'm loving that cable and I'm not worked about X4 at all right now ….
