question for IK OBI RE sampletank
I noticed sampletron and a bunch of your software have had some incredible sale prices lately. I am very interested in sampletank. Will it be offered with a deep discount as well? thanks :)

Not that I know of, but we do have these BUNDLEs, that TOTALly cover what we make for the modern computer musician with their WORKSTATIONS. I think you can find a few places already carrying new BUNDLES that IK is about to release. Not that I'm giving you any hints or clues or anything... We'll start here Cakewalk, with these lil hints and clues. Something pretty obvious. Let us build a REAL relationship so I can tease and hint at the AMAZING things we have planned. Because really, we have some *** **** & ** planned in the VERY near future....let us have nice things....

thanks for the response. I would love the bundles, though they have more than I want or would use. Still the price is incredible. But Im all about streamlined tools these days, so its more than I need or want. I was just hoping for sampletank at $29, like the other recent deals. so dont tease...what are some of these amazing things and new bundles you are talking about? :)

Why would that be worse? We'd LOVE to be on Android if only their latency was so unbearable for musicians! As for the teasers, I dropped a few hints already and I'll have more info on the upcoming Total Workstation Bundle when we actually announce it....not that I would talk about it before it was released or anything....

It's not teasing if your just going to have more sales on stuff that's been around for years.
I realize it takes a while for the new stuff but enough with the hints about old stuff. I like that you keep us informed but I would rather you hold off and just anounce the sales rather than build us up for a let down.

With Google's promise for 'Low Latency' on version 4.1.1 Jelly Bean: have they came through? Have you benchmarked the new version? I like android, but the value from a musicians / producers viewpoint is very limited indeed.

Folks should remember when thinking about all these "fabulous" sales on all the IK stuff that by and large these are VERY mature products which have not been updated since the earth cooled. Don't get me wrong...I own and use almost all of them...excellent, but getting rapidly dated and outmoded. Let ol OBI come on and start toutin ST3 with an all new interface and library with scripting that kicks Kontakts behind and then even I'll be interested:-)

We have a full android team that has been waiting for 2ish years now. We are always checking and testing. Once we are ready we'll have more info for you. As of right now, no. I drop hints to what is next, I dropped a few already, not just on the new Total Workstation Bundle, but some new stuff coming soon. SampleTank 3 is still being worked on and I was not dropping hints about that. But what we do have coming will make a lot of people here happy. :)
