    Hi, James,

How are you, buddy, hope you're recuperating well!

Just a quick heads up. I tried to listen to this, but your SoundClick player is giving me a "error loading songfile" message!  You might want to check it out or maybe upload it again.

I'll check back soon, have a good one!

This was  a fun tune to work on.  It's been a while since all I had to do was just play a few guitar tracks and not worry a bit about anything else.

It sounds good! James did a good job on the mix.

Nice tune.  My only suggestion would be to bring up the guitar a tad in the beginning.  I hope you are well, James.

Nice collab! The Santana-esque guitar licks work really well with the electronica.

    * Not sure if it's a Soundclick thing, but this file sounds quite distorted and 'pumping'.

Anyway I fixed it and it should work fine  , its working with me now .

In the mean time I will work on raising the guitar track up as suggested in the mix , thanks for the second listen everyone .

How are you, buddy, hope you're recuperating well!

Thanks Bob , yes the surgery went well and I'm pretty much back to normal except for the nasty head cold I caught the other day .
Feel better today I think , by the way I fixed the error in the file . It must had been an error in SoundClicks end , anyway you shouldn't have a problem now with the link .
    Thanks Bob !

Thanks and thank Herb for the great guitar lead he added to the song , not sure about the distorted and pumping thing your talking about .
I was working with all audio wave files , I took the song audio wave file and then mixed in Herbs guitar track that was on a audio wav file and then mixed it .

Thanks ! My surgery went well , recovery took a week and spoiled my Thanksgiving but I'll make up for it on Christmas with some good food .

Ok clear the table everyone I'm eating for thanksgiving too ! LOL

On the mix I rasied the music up a bit from where it was the first time but as you suggested I'll go back and put the setting back to where I had it the first time on the volume level for the music track .

Thanks for the listen , with Herb on Guitar the song really has a polished off sound to it now .

Thanks Scotty , Herb did a great job ! Maybe next time when your not as busy we can work on another song project , maybe something where you and Herb can add guitar .
That might be sort different and fun too , two different leads running through the song .

I just started remixing the tracks again so the music is down just a bit . problem I was having was the three different guitar tracks sent to me seem to be off in volume a bit so I'm having to adjust the three guitar tracks and the music track so everything is balance out correctly .

I have things to do in town today , should have the remixed version up later today after I get home in the afternoon .

    Cheers !

    Yeah it worked now...

Sounded really good! Herb's guitar part really helped shape things and take it in some interesting places, while letting it breathe in spots. Radio your part laid down a nice, astmospheric foundation.

    Good collab!

Hi everyone , I just went back in and made some changes in the mix , I did a remix using RECORD & Magix Studio 12 deluxe .
I think you'll notice some nice changes in this version , a nice balance between music and Herbs Guitar lead .
Herbs right the guitar should never be totally out front , its the music he playing to .

Anyway I hope you enjoy this new remixed version .

    Cheers ! Radio

    Hey James,
The synths sounds really work well with the clean tones of the guitar. Your percussion work is GREAT as always. GREAT COLLAB!

Does sort sound that way now that you pointed that out , ummm I might have to recheck that .
Could be when I mixed it first using Record and then Magix Studio 12 , I might have to upload a new version again to correct that sound your talking about thanks !

I just uploaded another remix fixing that compressed drum sound , I'm pretty sure mixing with Record then with Magix Studio 12 is what caused that compressed sound .
Sounds much better now , thanks for pointing that out .

James, the intro drum measure sounds strange as does the crashes further in, almost like a hiss rather then a crash cymbal..... IDK .... I was thinking it might be sound click's compression algorithm. That has messed me up in the past.

I noticed this on a piano track I posted a few years back..... since they reduce everything to 128 I figured I'd upload a 128. It sounded like it was wavering...... really bad. I uploaded it again using 320 and the track was perfect.

    Just a thought.....

I like the new version...the guitar is up nice and clear.

Ummm now thats a curve ball , I'll have to reload the song recorded with midi
tracks and start there first .
That might take a day to work on that because I have already removed the song
in Project 5 and saved it in a folder , not a big deal to recheck my cymbal tracks .

I'll check that out tonight , right now it time for my afternoon two hour nap to
                recharge for the night .
Thanks for that information , I'll see what I can do about correcting that .

                Cheers !

I listened to part of this earlier, There must have been some probs with Sound Click because earlier it sounded VERY muffled and distorted.

    It sounds RIGHT ON now.

You should post your tunes to Sound Cloud James IMO, it will play better sound quality for everyone who is listening.

Sounds great to me either way!!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent Playing all around by both of you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Happy Holidays!!!!!!!!!

    Bobby

Thanks Bobby , I might recheck the cymbal midi track and make some adjustments tommorrow on Saturday .
See what happens , thanks for the listen and comments on this collaborate version .

This is good, not heard it without the guitar, but it's easy to see that Herb really did a good job here and it sits really well with your backing track. Ending is kind of abrupt, but otherwise very enjoyable.
