Philip - wonderful praise! thank you! I agree that Grant's guitar and harmonica were killer and Rich's sax and trumpet tracks really put the icing on the cake! thanks Philip! Strummy - thanks my friend! glad you enjoyed it! Rich - thanks very much, I appreciate you very much and I know you have had a difficult time this past year. I pray things are getting better for you! the song would not have been the same without your great skills my friend! Tim - it's possible there's a harsh midrange, but I'm not hearing it myself. if you listen again, or if anyone else hears a problem there, let me know and I'll adjust it. glad you liked the song! thanks! Scotty - haha! thanks man! I appreciate it! I think I'm too old to start a full time blues circuit, tho! I'll check on the rhythm, I was a little worried about it when I released it, so I am not surprised by that comment! thanks man! Marius - glad you liked it and thanks for the comments on the vocals! I appreciate your listen and we all appreciate you and everyone's great comments! this was a blast to do!

Hmmm.... that's strange, I'm sure I commented on this one. Looks like I wasn't the only one. I believe I posted something to the extent that Beagles do everything out of context... Take Snoopy for example..... Great tune, you really shine on this one!

I love the song a lot. It sounds really cool and would be a great bit of fun to play. This would get the bar hoppin for sure. My only crit is the bass line. This song would be immensely better with a walking bass line. Other than that, Very well done by all.

Robert - high compliments indeed! thanks, I'm glad this is such a hit! I do agree with you that a walking bass might fit better here. Maybe if I ever get around to re-doing it, but probably not. great suggestion, tho! Mike - thanks! this is the first time I've ever done anything like this, but it was fun!

Thanks Herb! yes, it's very different for me, but it was very fun! I have a new version up, not much change, but I did cut the mid down a hair, brought the rhythms up a hair and slightly changed the piano ending. same link. http://www.soundcloud.com/beaglesound/brown

James - Wow! that's a compliment if I ever heard one! thanks! glad you liked it!!! Warren - it's not open any more, even tho I originally left it open the first time you heard it, but you should be hearing a piano on the 3rd, now. although it is much lower in the mix and not nearly as prominent as the horns at 1 & 5 are. Duane - yep, this is definitely different for me, but it is me! - and Grant and Rich - the song would not be the same without them! actually, the song would never have been written without Grant's guitar bed and lead! very glad you enjoyed it!

Big thanks to all for comments about the solos. I did that several years ago on Guitar Tracks 2.0. Most of the credit for the tone has to go to Reece. Awesome job Reece and Richard it was fun. As for the question of future collabs with Reece, we are working on 2 more that I know of. The Beagle's on a roll. Thanks again everyone for the listen.

New mix up with a new bass track from Robert (Guitarpima) Robert sent me a PM asking if I would be interested in a walking bass part for this song. of course I said yes!! he did a fantastic job on it - I really like the way it has pulled the song into the genre even more. bravo, Robert!
