ya that home made tube amp sounds great for recording!  very nice production.   I feel like the vox should be just  a decibel  louder ??    very good sound though

Great production.

Vox could be a little clearer (@2kHz) (words are not clear) ... could be my cheap computer speakers (my studio is down)

Ron,
This song definitely has some special texture to it. Nicely done, Amp sounds really healthy - I've got a tiny Amp made by Kustom which has a similar tonal quality. Not sure about the Peanut butter comment, probably because this has been remixed since then. Slide sounds boss!!!!

Don't be shy, put a compressor on that kick and bring it up into play.

Great arrangement Ron. Man that slide is sooo tasty. That middle part at around 2:45 has a change in the vocal treatment that kinda tossed me for a bit, but the way you finish that part with the extended vocal note was just freakin great! Really nice work here Ron.

I've been reading the comments the past few days, and have been itching to post...but I was also not ready to post the new mix/master until today.

Heartfelt thanks to the kind words. I learned a few new things about preserving the dynamics, and opened it up a little more. Has a nice sheen to it I think.

Just uploaded the new mix!

I'm stuck in the past, but my foot's tapping forward
