"Spockpit's Revenge"
Here is what James assembled from all the acoustic parts I recorded. I'm not sure how you guys want to do it but if you record a part for it let James know so he can build the tune. This doesn't mean the acoustic part will even be in the finished version. It's there to give a starting point. It was recorded at 120bpm. Thanks James. "Spockpit's Revenge"

spacey A note of interest...If everybody posts the link to their part here then anybody else wanting to produce a version would be able to. But if we did that, would not later performers have the advantage of playing off what others did? I thought the idea was no one was to hear what others did. No biggie. Just what I understood.

Your right...Spacey wrote that. I deleted it. I stated I didn't know because James ask me to post this and I'm comfortable telling folks what to do with their parts...like, send them to James...I felt he should have posted this and told folks to send him the files...whatever works. But that's just how I see it and I'm not going to tell folks to send their files to anybody.

I would think what you record at would matter. I can only guess what James will work at and my guess is 24/48 You may want to go 24/ 44 to keep file size down...I don't know...whatever works for ya.

re: rendering: record all your stuff at 24 bit. Send files links to jimyoyo@gmail.com. I would say just do a part and let me assemble it. Depending on how it goes, I am end up changing the structure completely. Afterwards, I will post all the individual parts so others may mix/match/assemble anyway they want.

I just gave this a listen- nice acoustic guitar work... real nice, but I lost track of who's doing what. Are there lyrics, melody? Who's doing vocals? I'd take a shot at the vocal, but I don't know if someone's already signed on for that.

I recorded a customised Hammond organ type part last night, which I broke up into matching sections and also provided a complete track, all with varying playing dynamics and CC1 mod wheel 'leslie wobble' as I call it. I have just emailed the link to my MS Live Skydrive cloud folder to James. Recorded at 24/48. Lovely couple of A2 passing chords in there Spacey, plus a nice key change for the final section. Cheers Garry Kiosk

Update time: I have organ, drums, and harp added to the guitar. Still waiting for vocal, bass and flugelhorn. Though, I have to say at this point, I am somewhat disappointed. The parts I got are all fine, mind you, but they are all just playing along with the guitar. No counterpoint, no theme, no melody, no adventurousness, no weirdness, no sense of having fun just noodling around with it. I have heard enough of you guys to probably expect a little more.

Pssst, I was waiting for Bapu to send his track, if his adventurousness and weirdness doesn't scare you off then I know it's safe for me to get jiggy with it I have a four day weekend starting Friday I'll get you something more substantive.
