sustain stays on while in #64

I  have a problem with some hammond vst's..for example VB3 ..when i'm using the sustain(#64) as on /off for the rotary..when the fast is on(pedal pressed down),the sustain seems to be still working..because when i take my hands off the  keys it still keeps playing, while my foot is on the pedal.IT should stop playing when i take my hands off?? So when its at off ,no probs changing chords..but when i change to fast ,everytime i change a chord the first chord is still playing. PS/when i use the modulation instead#1..it works perfect. It's like the sustain is on all the time when its pressed down. Using sonar x3./Ray

Could be related to http://forum.cakewalk.com/FindPost/3030997 see Cakewalk's explanation  http://forum.cakewalk.com/FindPost/3108848 of the problem handling CC64=0. It was not fixed until after X3e, the last X3 update. There is a CAL script a couple of posts later that will fix recorded data.

The fix is in CbB. The Cakewalk by BandLab upgrade is free. It is 64bit only and will not run on 32bit Windows. CbB will use all the plug-ins bundled with 64bit SONAR and open your old projects. In order to get the upgrade, create a BandLab account (use the same email as your Cakewalk account) and download BandLab Assistant (details are in the CbB upgrade link).
