Nick, there's e-piano in that short demo I posted. I initially liked the sound, but it's actually only OK. Nowhere close to Lounge Lizard, but usable in context. It has thre "pedals" you can use: distortion, chorus, and trem. The trem does not seem to pan :( and there's no phaser :( :( I'd say the SI's are pretty good for the price and sound decent in context. The violin is not great, though: screechy and noisy. I think the bass is useful.
Mike
Mike are the patterns pretty much the ones that are already in P5?
Also are the strings the same or different then those offered in DimensionPro?
How does the Drums compare to Session Drummer in Sonar?
I realize these are picky questions but for me the strings and drums are the reason I would buy this. I dont really need the Rhodes, and the base is ok but I have lots of nice base banks in Dimension and Rapture
Here is an intersting thought. Do you think this was origionally slated to be released with P5 v2.5 update?
What this does is makes it so you can have some of the pattern functionality in other programs that is available in P5.
I am surprised they dont have a banks list and a more detailed specs list.
I know its a great price but I dont want to get it just to get it either. If I dont need it then it makes no sense to do that.
I like the cool interface, the way you can see the instruments play. It reminds me of the intro to the Kansas Device Voice Drum DVD where they had a similar type thing at the start with robotic musicians.
