See You Smile Feedback of any kind appreciated.

Something about it reminds me of "Blue Condition" By Cream. I thinks it's the vocals.

Now for the shocker :)

I actually liked the reverb (or whatever it is) on the vocals in that middle part around 1:20.

I wouldn't mind a different guitar tone on the guitar that starts playing at :05.

Overall good mix tho.

Your vocal performance is really cool. I too like the reverb at 1:15.

But, what are you using for a sound source for your drums and piano? The instruments sound really electronic. The mix is pretty good. Nice separation but the sounds are not believable. Not crazy about the guitar tone either.

I'd like to hear this with some better samples.

I used a little bit of chorus and reverb for the vocals,and the vocal part starting at 1:15 is duel vocals.I too wasn't sure about the guitar tone starting at :05,gonna experiment and try something different.Suggestions would sure be great.

Try going with the distortion theme throughout for the guitar at :05, just keep it in the back like the guitar sound you have now for that part.

The drums are the ones that come with Sonar.No piano,although some parts might sound like it.Most of the guitar parts is a Strat going in direct through a PreSonus TubePre,using Amplitude.Just started using Amplitude,and need to experiment with it some more.I agree that the guitar tone could be better,and I do need to get some better samples.The very first guitar part(and is repeated throughout the song)is a distorted les paul sound font that came with Sonar.

With Zeps good advice,I changed one of the guitar tones to distorted.Sure helped the song.Tried to keep the sound where it is,and not too up front.

Yeah, definatly a better overall flow to the sound now.

I was gonna say, if they are dxi samples in sonar they sound good and why can't i find them :)

Bump, cause it deserves it..Like to see some more comments for Steve from the pros here. I think Steve's got something here with this song and would like to see him improve it even more.

Thanks Richard.I went back and listened to that part,and yes it is off a little.The 2nd guitar part almost gives it a delay effect.I'm gonna eventually give this song a full makeover.Ive got some better drum samples,and I'm gonna work on the guitar tones.The first guitar riff(midi) is gonna be replaced by real guitar also.
