Wow James, that must take a lot of time to set that up? You should post some of your music or even this piece you're working on.....that would be interesting to listen to. Ashamed to say this, but I do have Jamstix and haven't wrapped my head around it yet.....

I tried Jamstix but gave up cuz I didn't like the end result. So far, for me anyway, its better to do the drums in 2 or 3 separate parts then combining them into the main mix as a single percussion part. I've tried this on 4 tunes now and to me they sound more natural. A real drummer

I have to admit that I didn't spend the time learning Jamstix as I should have but I was spending more time reading etc. than making music. What I did sounded like a machine. I hoping the EZPlayer Pro will help

Mesh I hear ya Bob.....KU is on my radar too (if the price is right).
I'm still considering Komplete for 4 bills, with a maybe upgrade to U later during a sale.
For 1 more bill, you can get Komplete Ultimate right here: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=455070&hilit=komplete+10 (the seller is "desperate" for cash )
Wow ... why does this feel like a 'back of a station wagon' kind of thing?

Yeah it's something like that, but looking at that sellers long post count, he seems to be a regular. I've bought quite a lot of stuff at KVR (not from this seller) and every sale has been a good deal/good experience. I'd check the Feedback thread and as many of his posts to get a better idea (before buying). If he had/has a bad reputation, it'd be posted all over KVR.

I didn't know about the free 2GB sample pack.....where did you get that from? Do you have any Toontrack products? If yes, they have a new installer that puts everything in the right places......if not, I'll check the file path (once I get home) and post pack......but, first I need to know where you got the 2 GB pack (so I can install it too). :))

Howdy Doody Mr. Bill!! Yeah, that must've been something Time & Space offered with that purchase. Since this is mainly for Midi, is that 2GB pack all MIDI files or some other format??? Just saw your link.....don't know how I missed finding it last night....most peculiar mama. I see that they're WAV format...

I'm thinking these are a collection of Construction Kits to build a song. Since they're WAV files, I'm guessing they would go in the Cakewalk Content folder.

From just looking at the user reviews, it looks like these are just WAV samples for anyone to use and doesn't seem to have anything to do with EZPlayer Pro (being a Midi organizer and all....)

sharke I have to say, Jamstix is my absolute favorite go-to for programming drums. Once you get into the song layout and "brain" editing in depth you can get some incredible results, the sort of beats I would have never achieved in a piano roll or live playing. I even use it for electronica drums by hooking it up to Battery or Geist...right now I'm programming some insane Aphex Twin style craziness which changes time sigs every measure...3/4 then 4/4 then 3/4 then 5/4 then 6/4 etc...and with Jamstix I'm even changing playing styles with every measure....here a breakbeat, there a march with snare rolls....here straight eights, there a swing feel. And then adding fills on certain measures and tweaking those in all kinds of interesting ways. Not to mention changing the drummer model from measure to measure, so certain measures have bang on timing while others are behind the beat and others ahead of the beat. You wouldn't want this kind of craziness in a straight ahead C&W number of course but for insanely complex mayhem nothing "beats" it (heh heh).
Sounds cool! I guess..... Where can I hear a few of your Examples of doing all this? That was a rather long post. Just wonder if you aren't working for that company and posting here as a PROMO?
Dell XPS 8700, 16GB's Ram, Sonar Platinum.
