Any way to make Track Manager settings persistent?

One of the biggest PITAs for me is the fact that if you exclude strips from the console view using Track Manager, they come back the next time you open the project.  This really, really ought to be saved with the project.  In particular, I have zero use for the Metronome and Preview strips on most projects.  They are more than annoying.

Is there some way to make them stay away?

Just make a project template without them or you can just delete those tracks and they will never ever show up again in that project. Either way will work.

That sounds so simple. No wonder I couldn't think of it.  :)

But I do thing the Track Manager settings ought to be saved with the project.  There are other selections I might make in the Track Manager that I wish would carry over to my next session.

    Are you using Lenses ?
This is the only thing that has caused this to happen with me. It was a Lens.
Its because Lenses are a global feature.

Could also be a screenset if you have it locked.

Are you saying the Track Manager settings are normally saved when you save a project?
