Wow! Forget about Obama or Romney. How about Kurt Denke for President? And definitely for legal counsel for the 'next' batch of legal trouble I will inevitably find myself in once again, and before too long, as always.

http://most-expensive.net/audio-cables what about these?

Presumably there are jerks out there actually paying these sums of money and keeping these companies in business.

I should set up a high-end cable company with  profit margins like that

Check out the comments underneath that article! Scary! These people shouldn't be allowed to have or use money at all IMO

I reckon these comments underneath the article are all phony (at least the top ones) and placed there purely for advertising purposes - just like some of the product reviews @ amazon or other stores ... new product, all brilliant reviews, just a little more expensive than the rest, and a definite trap ...

Hmm, more gold-plated hype I see. My favorite part: "Units individually handcrafted to exacting professional standards. This product is a must for all Audio and Home Theater systems!"

... if only I had a theater. sigh!

I just want to say I'm proud of all you guys. The healthy skepticism shown in this thread is heartening. It wasn't always so around here!

I do kinda miss the old flamefests, if only just a little.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

Well I always fancied some of these - http://www.referenceaudio...ME&Product_Count=2 wooden volume knobs as they promise to transform the sound of any audio circuit:

"With the signature knobs micro vibrations from the C37 concept of wood, bronze and the lacquer itself compensate for the volume pots and provide (Good Vibrations) our ear/brain combination like to hear…way better sound!!"

Unfortunately they don't seem to be available any more. If anyone knows where I can get hold of four can you let me know so my Epi Les Paul can sound like a '57 Gibson. That's bound to work, right?
