I absolutely feel like today will turn into a "lay down" day.
 
After a few weeks of totally spazzing out on redoing my bass/guit guide tracks for my album I tracked the last part last night. Now I can shift to less hyperactive tasks (redoing my time correction on the live beds) which doesn't require as much of my musical mental illness and/or beer.
 
Also been poking around my old news/political forums for the first time in a looong and raging out until the wee hours. That... probably isn't very good for my health/sleep cycle (which is why I stopped going there and shifted my ridonculousnous over here).

Oh man... although I generally avoid hard liquor (does not seem to have the curative properties that beer does) I particularly stay away from rum ever since I went home for X-Mas and downed almost a full 26'er of Bacardi mumzie had laying around.
 
Because it was a full house I passed out on the couch and was rudely awoken by a bunch of shrieking kids crawling all over, the empty bottle leaning against me (placed there by my mom) and mumzie taking pictures of me with the flash on.
 
Friggen' sugar booze, man. Hardcore.
 
If I go for a shnoot of the hard stuff I generally prefer whiskey/scotch. Even then any more than a few shots rips me to shreds these days.

Yeah Beeps, I can't do more than 3 drinks anymore......and to be honest, I'm very happy with it. I like to be able to get up in the morning and get the day started (by 9 am).......during college days, it used to be 2 pm.
 
BTW, I also like a good single malt once in awhile.  

It used to be a bit problematic back when I was doing the Irish folk stuff. Although I was always a draft slammer the audience and bar owners would just keep bringing up whiskey shots during the sets (which were approaching 3 hours long with only a couple short ten minute breaks in beetween... where even MORE people wanted to buy ya shots).
 
Let's just say set #3 usually ended up with some severely garbled Beeps vox (and I have the recordings to prove it... lol).
 
Not a single fart was given though because the audience would of course be even MORE wasted and it all had a very Shane McGowan vibe... which just got everyone going even crazier.

When I had my studio, we used to occasionally cat-sit for the neighbor's kitty (who though she owned all of us anyway).  She used to love to walk on my synth keyboards (when they were on) and chew up my Aurelex cushions under my gear.  I kept finding foam dust everywhere!
