James, is that a track you wanted to continue working on (as in collab.) or just an example of what you have in store?
That's something I'm interested in (might even just jam to that over the weekend).

I'd certainly be willing to offer it up as start point for a collab, plenty of ways it could go. If I can find the original project file I'll put it up on Dropbox or similar as a CWB, then you can download it. Probably won't be until the weekend though.

Yeah, we could definitely do a K-Pop version of that....Gangnam Style Baby!!!!

I think it's got lots of potential and might be fun to do......Drew, Ken, George/Joe/MIA, whaddaya say??

TBH Mesh, if you're serious about a collab, it might be better to start a new thread, it's going to be almost impossible to keep track of things here.

I'm just being the vocal/amateur/cheerleader here and do like the idea of a bunch of us collaborating (hopefully) into something good.

Well that was more of less my plan (except for the watermelon part).

Well, to avoid copyright infringements, we'd have to restage the picture.  Other than Steve, does anyone else want to model for this?  We'll be sure to get you a "real" beer.

I doan know about that one, but I might be willing to volunteer to wear cardboard and model as a UPS shipping box.

My friend made his own alcohol when we were in high school.  Very high proof stuff actually.  We would inject it into Oranges (I don't like watermelon so I never tried that).  The school's random locker checks never noticed anything weird.  Worked well at the beach too!

Several years ago in the middle of a hot summer, I was working in the Loop in Chicago. It's rather common to pass by street musicians as you walk through the area. Some of them are quite good. Anyway, as I was meandering through crowded streets, I came across a guy playing a radio. He had a sign, a small bucket for cash, and a small radio. While this guy may not have had the musical expertise of his musician counterparts, he wasn't going to let that stop him. I had to give him credit for his innovation, guts, and determination.

A few years later, I was hurrying to a meeting downtown and I saw him again. This time, he had a tambourine and a radio. The grin on his face was priceless. In waving that tambourine around in an approximate synch with the radio, you could see that he felt that he felt good. I've seen a lot of musicians playing the sidewalks, but this guy stands out in my memory. When I think of him, I think of someone who did the best he could with what he had.

Kudos to Radio Guy.

I used to know how to play the radio.

But I'm afraid I lost my talent somewhere along the line because now it always sounds horrible whenever I try it.
