I would like to add the 3 drummers that are currently making King Crimson look like some kind of GOD band! I would add the PT guy quickly to this bunch. You gotta check out, specially, the encore with 21st Century Schizoid Man, complete with the mandatory rock drum solo! Steve Gadd, though, is special, and you must listen to him with Kate Bush in "50 Words for Snow". It is insanely amazing and beautiful. Not to mention his early work with Ricky Lee Jones ... she has not even come close to that good since he didn't drum with her anymore.
Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!

I must admit that out of those three in the video Vinnie Colaiuta is my favourite. He plays drums like I think them I could really use him on some of my songs  I have a buddy that is an excellent drummer, and usually shows me something new (from drummer world) every time. I do not remember 1/10 of the names of the drummers he's played to me But will check your tips out. All the best.
