Ahhhhhhhhh!

It's hard to believe, but the thread is slowing down. It was way down at number 12 on the big board this morning.

It's been growing constantly for months, but the rate of expansion is way down. Perhaps perpetual growth isn't possible, just like the real world. 

Perhaps somebody smart can figure out a measurement, say, posts per day. All the retired scientists that hang out here can then analyse the data and make graphs. I miss graphs. 

Yet another morning dawns and here I am, contributing to the (possibly) longest ever thread in the Coffee House. I don't even like coffee. Earl Grey man here, but I suppose you could hardly have an Earl Grey house, just wouldn't feel comfortable in an Earl's house FFS.

Hello & Happy St. Valentine's Day!!

Do we (now) have to be pathetic to be in here?

 A big happy VD to you Mesh! It is almost half over though.

I guess if we only to have VD once a year, that's ok. I'd probably prefer a head cold though.

 To be honest, my wife & I think St. V-day is over rated......go to a restaurant---long waits-----expensive & bad service-----disappointed in going out.

A quiet meal at home (everyday) has much more meaning.

Me and my missus met at a VD (that sounds so wrong) doo, many years ago, and so VD means more to us than our wedding anniversary. Sad, but true

Happy Saturday, everyone.  Stay away from asteroids and meteorites if you can.  

UGH... I woke up at 4:45 this morning. I think they made a movie about this .... The Longest Day? I drank about two fingers of moonshine yesterday evening and it synergized my meds and I went to bed at 8:00... I was worried that I would wake up too early but 4:45... I'm not sure it is legal to wake up that early. If it is, it shouldn't be.

If I were to go to bed at 8pm, I'd wake at either 12:30am or, at the latest, 2am...  As it is, I went to sleep at 1:30am and was up by 6am today - and THAT is still too early IMO!
