I haven't watched the news nor read much of anything within this "glorified media" for the past few years.....I got lucky in guessing on most Q's to get 9 out of 13.

Guessing, except for the age and gender questions, 8/13.

What is interesting to me is that I only get my news from The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and The Colbert Report on TV. But I do read/skim Time magazine and Rolling Stone does cover some current news items and I may or may not read all of them.
