Tonight a friend had a pre-Thanksgiving Day Thanksgiving Day party consisting of food, booze and darts.  So I've now had my fill of turkey, stuffing, potatoes, mac 'n cheese, peas and apple pie ala mode.  (Ok, so not quite my fill, but enough anyway!).

Not a good combination, I would think, a dart wound would hurt like heck.

I'm thankful for friends and family, and for having a job that keeps food in my belly and a roof over my head.
I'm thankful that I am in relatively good health.
I would be especially thankful if the 'go to first unread post' button worked.

Not a good combination, I would think, a dart wound would hurt like heck.

Actually, getting hit by the instruments of most other sports would hurt worse.  Pool cue, bowling ball, baseball, tennis racket, cricket bat, golf club, etc.
 
Besides, when you've been playing as long as I have (35+ years), you realize darts are rarely played without booze! 

I would be thankful if I didn't have to read all the FSF every day...

I'm thankful for family, friends(including my friends here in the CH), and good doctors, Rns, and techs who've helped me along the way.

I'm  thankful that so many still think it is better to give than to recieve.  This of course has led to a shortage of recievers however I'm prepared to do more than my fair share of taking as that is my natural gift.
 
So I guess that means I'm thankful for all my true gifts.
 
Do not ever feel that I will ever falter in taking on the burden of all your generous giving as to me it is nothing short of an honour.
 
I can't say fairer than that.
