I have issues with my left shoulder and elbow, may need a shot...

I can't hold a guitar with the strap over my shoulder and probably won't for a while or possibly indefinitely. I just hope the physiotherapist don't make matters worse; rupture a tendon or cause further nerve damage in my elbow (ulnar nerve) and also quite possibly the nerves in my shoulder and neck. {yikes} I also have Paresthesia on my right side. Oh well. Can't take pain killers because they cause me internal bleeding, alternatives are not good for long term use and are addictive, so I use another medication that helps somewhat (actually not much) and I'm still having difficulties sleeping. I also have osteoarthritis in the knees and back/body fatigue/pain (fibromyalgia)!
 
 

Ice 10-15 mins. Heat for 10-15 mins. Repeat. Do that before bed and in the morning. Take a hot bath/shower to further easy up the muscles. Take ibuprofan if possible (or another anti-inflammatory... NOT acetaminophen because that just masks pain). Try not to overuse that arm for a couple days. That's the least intrusive way to deal with relatively minor acute soft tissue stuff. OTC muscle relaxers taken as indicated (like Robaxacet) is a little more aggressive but works. Try to just lay down and chill if you go that route because you may cause more injury while all wibbly woobly and not notice it.

To be honest I think I overdid it a bit.  It's been a while since I fired a shotgun, but I got through 4 boxes of cartridges today.
 
I know I'm going to regret it tomorrow.  And my shoulder will be black and blue,  (or gold and white..)

I'd probably crumble into a pile of dust if I tried to fire a shotgun.

People are not weather compatible. Yesterday was a bright, sunny day over here. I sat in traffic for 2 1/2 hours because the people in this metropolitan area lack the intelligence required to operate a pair of sunglasses. Today, ice is falling from the sky. There is no hope whatsoever.

This just in...Pine trees have approved the use of trumpet rifles for everyone who likes to use trees for target practice. After delivering their decision, Firful, the spokestree for the forest paused and said, "Goodbye, humans." 

I bet these trumpet rifles will be a big 'hit' in the metropolitan areas for those that are "lacking"...........cheap sunglasses.

Hiya Daryl, yeah it's unlike him not to (at least) visit the FSF. The bugger better be on vacation!!!

I'm doing well as can be (a little under the weather ).......of course the weather here is atrociously pleasant (86 degrees).

I have found that the weather here is consistently excellent - as long as I stay indoors. I don't even need a jacket as it's warm enough for just a shirt and it basically never ever rains in here, much less snow.

Bubba's taken it to a whole gnu level with the weather issues and gone for that underground bunker thingamajiggy.
