it's be REALLY nice if you remembered to put more specific times, for us foreigners as well..

GMT and CET time zones :)

last time BST (british summer time) wasn't accounted for  , so a few of us turned up 1 hour early.

By my calculations it'll be 10pm.

Obviously CW must've known England wouldn't be in the euro semi final tonight......

My calculations say 10pm but my Blackberry has just "pinged" and said 8pm! Stupid mobile phones (or the person who put the info in it)

I'm just gonna post my question/request here and move it to the proper thread if need be. This might be something others would be interested in seeing demonstrated as well.

Would it be possible for you guys to take a few minutes to show us the various ways to input and record drum tracks with an MPC or keyboard controller?
    For example:

    1) Adding hits progressively on each pass to a Step Sequencer loop as it plays.

    2) Using the controller to input data to the Piano Roll View while playback is stopped.

    3) Recording a live free form drum performance with a controller (not looped).

I'm just curious to see how you guys approach these tasks in X1. I'd imagine it wouldn't take up too much time and it would be super useful for a beginner such as myself. Thanks.

BTW as a new user I am very happy with X1 so far and all the educational content has been invaluable to me. Great job, guys. Cheers!

IIRC last time it was 10pm Strummy thought it was 3 am. Either that or hooked on question time (a political debate type show in the UK).

Here's what is being covered and look for both Seth and me to be on the live chat. I am helping out with the chat because there will be a few fun surprises.

CakeTV Live "Larger Than Life Drums" webinar. Tune in today at 2 PM PST for the latest installment of CakeTV Live. Cakewalk’s Brandon Ryan and Seth Perlstein will be on hand to answer questions and show tips, tricks, and production techniques using the award-winning SONAR X1. This time the focus will be on the backbone of music production, the rhythm tracks - namely drums and bass. We'll take raw tracks and apply various production and mixing techniques, employing all kinds of features in SONAR along the way.

Unfortunately we are in BST (British Summer Time) at the moment and so it is 20:30 (or just gone) and it will be on @ 22:00 (10:00 pm).

Yes we mess with time here! I well remember walking to school with a luminous vest on when they stopped doing it for a while.

your 1 hour behind, you posted that 22 minutes ago.. which was 20:30.. remember "spring forward , fall back" and it's British summer time currently so +1 hour to that.. so it'll be 10pm in just over 1 hour. and in europe 11pm
