Bub If you listen really closely, perhaps in an altered state (not that I would know about such things mind you), to the very ending chant of "Love you, love you, love you, love you ..." while George is jamming, at the end of Abby Road, you can just barely hear that Paul sounds like a chipmunk. They must have slowed the tape down, had him sing backups, and mixed it in at normal speed, hence making him sound like a chipmunk. Swear ta God. I do that **** all the time in Reaper with the Varispeed!!! It's great fun. Just let it ride mate, you can be a little defensive, as I said I understand where you are coming from, not in calling Rimshots kids brats that is uncalled for but I get that your angry, life sometimes deals out harsh cards. You would call me lucky, I would call myself getting by because I opened my mind to new possibilites. As I say I get why your angry and even I would struggle to find away to open my heart and new experiences if I faced the obstacles that you have in life. And that is a good final observation, we all have obstacles in life to overcome but nothing is impossible. Neb

chuckebaby is there a good way to that in sonar,(take all the tracks and transpose them down a half step so its easier to hit those high notes? No, just get a copy of Reaper and import audio files or a stereo file of the audio without vocals, sing in Reaper, use the varispeed button to tune your voice return it normal speed then import back into Sonar and mix. Here is an example: http://soundcloud.com/aaudiomystiks/withoutyou it sounds more complicated than it is, its not. Reaper has 30 day trial period and even then can still use the program but it only costs 40 bucks. Note to Cake, not flogging another company's software, you need a Varispeed button and this is a work around. Note toall users of Reaper YUK, horrible program but for 40 bucks and varispeed whoo hooo. Neb

I should actually pity you. You are obviously a sad, bitter man and probably need compassion more than most. I do not know why you feel the need to be so nasty and ignorant, but I suspect it is a cry for help. I sincerely hope you find it.

Rimshot Bub I would never let my kids roam around the internet unsupervised. I'm kind of shocked that a parent would let their kids read or participate in a forum not designated as being child friendly. In my opinion it's very irresponsible of the parent. There are sites out there that are clearly designated 'family friendly', this is not one of them. So please, take your screaming brat out of the Coffee House so I can enjoy my coffee and danish. Bub, I have tried to be careful to not upset anyone about this question. I don't let my son roam the internet unsupervised. I did not know this site was clearly not child friendly so I asked the question to everyone. Why in the world would it not be based on the TOS? My son is not a screaming brat and those words are harsh and abusive and completly uncalled for. Please don't bother to respond, you have said enough. Rimshot You really need to stop telling people what they can and can't say and when they can say it. I agree with your original post, that's why I went back and removed some comments I made last night that I felt were over the top. I didn't take it as a single incident you were addressing, but a series of events that made you feel like you should say something. The brat statement was not directed at you personally, it was directed at the entire argument of making every place Family Friendly. But obviously you didn't get that, or the humor in my post. That problem is on you ... not me.

Careful now foxwolfen, those kind of comments are not conducive to a nurturing and caring family oriented environment.

There are two different ways to adjust pitch in Sonar. One you have to apply, in other words, you don't put it in the FXbin. Time Stretch 2 I think it's called. You can tell it to adjust pitch without affecting clip length. Sony Sound Forge has a similar function that works a lot better than the ones in Cakewalk, but it's 32bit only and can't be used as a VST in Sonar x64.
