[Clarified] X1 Expanded - I thought some fixes were also going to be included?

Apart from the new whizz features, I thought there was mention by CW in earlier posts that general bug fixes were also being included?
I can't seem to find a list of these, or have I missed it somewhere?

they mention a lot of stuff in their advertisements and end it all with "... and much more".

I haven't found anything that explains this either. A complete list would be awesome but for now I suppose we have to just click everything and see if it still does the same or something new;)

I would think general bug fixes would be released as a normal patch update, not in the add ons.

Probably. Haven't even downloaded it yet. Just paid for it

EDIT to Add: I'm just thinking that it would be good if they told potential customers what "Much more" is. I wouldn't mind it but I always intended to get it because of the music XML, new FX chains, any future interesting PC modules. Of course any extra addition would be nice to know about too if unsure whether to dive in or not when they keep repeating it

Sorry for any confusion - yes there are fixes included however they are only specific to the new features in X1 Expanded.

Willy, so the fixes only fix issues with the newly released X1 Expanded? Which of course, nobody knew needed fixing :-S.

Unlike my post count, which is constant need of fixing (according to The Willy).

It's just as well. It would've been bad form to include general SONAR bugfixes as a deal-sweetener for selling an optional add-on.

    Eh?

So the new features needed fixing?

Thanks for clearing that up now I'm more confused.

Perhaps he meant the new features replace the old features that had bugs?

Some bugs needed fixing for the new features to work?

    (i dunno)

I seem to recall that Seth said the next fix would be for all and available to all without the purchase of the product.  It's clear now he did not mean this release, so that fix he was talking about is still to come?

Yes, that was what I was pondering over.  Seems CW changed priorities.  I guess hope an X1D will be along by and by.
This tallies with a post elsewhere here positing that there are perhaps two separate CW software teams - one back-fixing and one pressing on with the vision.

    Yeah - I guess I didn't make things any less confusing . . .

1] X1 Expanded does not include fixes for features outside of the scope of the feature set.  IOW - we're not charging you for fixes for another area of SONAR however some fixes & improvement did go into FX Chains for example to support FX Chains 2.0

2] As Seth said a few weeks ago, there will be a free update available for both X1C and X1 Expanded users that will address reported issues.  I don't have a timeline for when this will be available just yet.

    Hope that clarifies!

Hello Willy, I can't quote your post because of the FireFox6 incompatibility, but will the intermittent ProChannel compressor(s) problem be fixed in the upcoming free bug fixes? I would like to purchase Expanded, but I will not until that bug is fixed. Thanks in advance.

Ditto. I'm going to wait on purchasing Expanded until a fix for that issue has been verified.

Cakewalk's Ryan said to use the Full Reset preset or whatever it is called insde of the pro-channel to get it going again when it refuses to activate. This always worked for me.

I have not had any problems with the ProChannel in X1e but I am but one man...

    How nice...

Cake's not charging us for any of the fixes here...

I wonder just how expensive it is to pay for a really big bug versus a tiny bug these days...
